Your details stay with us
Shri Renuka Optical is a two-store optical business in Hubballi. We only ask for what we need to make your glasses and get them to you — nothing more, and we never sell it.
Your name, phone number, email and delivery address when you place an order. Your prescription details when you order lenses. Payment is collected as cash on delivery, so no card or bank details ever reach this website.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not share it with advertisers. The only outside parties who see it are the people who have to — our lens laboratory and the courier carrying your parcel.
Why do you need my prescription?
To grind and fit the right lenses. Prescription details are treated as health information: they are kept with your order record, used only to make your glasses, and shared only with the lens laboratory that produces them.
Do you use cookies?
Yes, the basic ones. This site is built on WooCommerce, which uses cookies to remember what is in your cart and to keep you signed in to your account. We do not run advertising or profiling trackers.
How long do you keep my information?
Order and prescription records are kept as long as they are useful for repeat visits, warranty claims and our bookkeeping obligations. Ask us to delete your details and we will, except where we are required to keep a billing record.
Can I see or delete what you hold?
Yes. Call either store and ask. We will tell you what we have against your phone number, correct anything that is wrong, and delete what we are not obliged to keep.
Is the website secure?
The site runs over HTTPS, so anything you type is encrypted in transit. Accounts are optional — you can check out as a guest.
